Welcome to Web Dev Blog, Web Development for the Thinking Man!
This blog is a workshop for those of you web devs that pride themselves in craftsmanship. I will be posting all kinds of webby goodness here including (but not limited to) tricks, tools, cool stuff, ideas, questions, and most of all code! I hope some of you find this stuff as interesting as I do, even if its just something to read during your first cup (or three) of joe in the morning.
I will try to keep the blog content fresh and fun and post as often as possible. I would love to hear your feedback on the blog and even web development in general. Please don't hesitate to hit me up with questions, comments, or ideas for topics.
Make sure to follow me on twitter, http://twitter.com/b4nn0n!
My name is Chris Bannon, and I have a technology problem. Seriously, I love technology, especially when it comes to the web. I spend most of my time either using or building it, both at work and home. I work for ComponentOne as Product Manager of our ASP.NET and iPhone products.
I have been working with the web since 2000 and don't plan on stopping anytime soon. It all started when I got my hands on Photoshop in high school. After some certification I was a freelance Graphic Designer, and with a little more I quickly jumped into being a Web Designer. I started my professional career as an ASP.NET 1.0 Web Designer and worked my way up until I became the Lead Web Developer for ComponentOne. Now, I spend my days managing the products I love to use.
When I'm not being a huge nerd, I spend most of my time with the fam. Other than that I like to play Golf with my buddies. I am also on an awesome C-league Ice Hockey team that plays charity games for the MDA.
