c1Upload error loading the page.

Hi,

i have an error in the fallowing section when the page that contains a c1upload open. If i refresh my page with a ajax command button the needs only a partial render, the component show and i can download files. this error happend in the ScriptResouce.axd?... file...

if anyone can help it would be very appriciated... that's all is missing for me to publish my site and i'm about to take this component out of my site and replace it by a more basic component.

How to get rid of evaluation popup message for C1Report

I cannot get rid of the evaluation popup box when my code executes the following:

Dim subrptweb1 As New C1.C1Report.C1Report

I normally get rid of the popup messages by dragging the control onto a web form, thus adding the token to the licenses.licx file.

How do I do this for the C1.C1Report dll? As far as I can tell, there is no control that I can drag onto a web form.

maintaining horizonal scropp position on partial postback

I have a C1GridView control with horizonal scrolling and would like to maintain the scroll positon between user selections and partial postbacks. Currently the gridview re-positions itself to the left most column on postback requiring user to re-scroll to where they were.

C1Calendar, passing function with parameters to 'ClientOnSelChange'

I want to pass a javascript function with parameters to 'ClientOnSelChange'.

If I give only a function name to 'ClientOnSelChange', it executes it without problem when a date is selected.

but If I try to pass the function with parameters, nothing happens when a date is selected.

For example, the code like below does not work:

I hope someone can help me.

C1Upload Error with paths ~/

I have a problem with this control in my application, because I want to use the routes like the example of the page says "~ / Temp" but when running the application tells me don't find the path, only works if I put the physical path and so does not help, hopefully I can help.

extending c1gridview

Hi,

Im creating new custom control that inherit from C1Gridview, my intention is to add checkbox column automatically depending on the property (AutoGenerateCheckboxColumn=true) defined by the user (true/false).
This is how i add the column : i override CreateRow function, then before returning the C1GridViewRow, i add the cell into that row, then add the checkbox control inside the cell. So every row will have checkbox column in the first column inserted by this logic.

The problem is now, when i use this grid from the page, and add some styling to the column, the style doesn't get applied properly. For example i defined 3 columns (A,B,C) in the column definition, then i set the horizontal align to center for the column A. Then i set the AutoGenerateCheckboxColumn=true, so the grid will display 4 columns (checkbox, A, B, C). But the mess thing is the column get centered is not columnA, instead is the checkbox column.

Is my way on extending the c1gridview is correct? (by overriding the createrow and add cells to that row).

Any clue on this? i've been stuck with this issue for week and days, hope someone can give some lightbulb on my issue

Gridview Inconsistent grouping

I would like to use the Gridview as shown in the "Aggregates" sample in Control Explorer. However, data grouping levels are inconsistent and I only want to display groupings when appropriate. For example, "Aggregates" sample shows Beverages, Condiments, Confections, etc. as the first level groupings. Each of these levels expands to the list of products in the category. How would the groupings appear if Beverages was grouped one more time into three subcategories such as "Tea", "Coffee", "Other", and Condiments did not have any subcategories? Ideally the groupings could display:

-Beverages
    -Tea
          Tea Product 1
          Tea Product 2
  - Coffee
          Coffee Product 1
          Coffee Product 2
  - Other
          Other Product 1
          Other Product 2
-Condiments
    Condiment Product 1
    Condiment Product 2
    Condiment Product 3

I would appreciate any suggestions on how to define the GroupInfo (or other objects, properties, events) to display the groupings that better match data. My current work-around was to create an artificial "grouping" for Condiments so all data rows had the same number of grouping levels. Thanks!

C1Schedule for ASP.NET localization

Hi there,

I have two question about C1Schedule control for ASP.NET 3.5.

How can I localize the ASP.NET C1Schedule control and their editors? Localizing the Date/ Time format is clear but I could not find any word about the text localization
Is there any way to show Saturday and Sunday in own separated columns, like any other weekdays in Month view? Like many private clubs we have events during the weekend only but Saturday and Sunday are merged into a single cell in month view the and there is no room to show only 2 events pro day.

i've looked at the object and can see that the obj contains the info i want.

I've looked at the example and tried using the .getAppointments(); method but I get "object doesn't support that property or method" error.

Report Viewer - clear?

I'm using a report viewer to dynamically create reports. If I view report 5, it shows as expected. However, if I go back to my search list and choose a new report, I still see report 5. I stepped through the code, I am still setting the physical application path to the new report,b ut it shows me the previous report. Is there a way to erase its memory of the first report?

I am programmatically adding progressbars into a <content template> container based on a selection from a listbox, so the count of the objects required will vary from each selection. I am using each one as a fluid level indicator. They are showing up correctly, but the positions are all bunched together. Normally I would increment the .Location property but these don't have one. How can I control the objects position within the container?

Is there a way to prevent the changing (typing over) of items in the drop-down? Let's say there is a list of the 50 states. I can actually change "Texas" to whatever value I want! There has to be a way to prevent editing of items. Please let me know..

I just started to work with the C1Editor for asp.net. ver 4.0.20101.179

I noticed that upload of images only work in IE, not in FF, is that correct ?

And I can't find out the intended function of the Save button.

I suppose there should be some kind of dialog ? The only thing that happens is that the button is disabled and the Text Save event is fired.

But nothing is saved in the dialoguplodfolder.

I can't find any example how to save the result of the edit efforts.

tabindex issues with C1MaskedInput

I have a asp.net webform with a mix of standard controls and c1 controls. All of the standard asp controls seem to tab in order of my tabindex's. however the C1MaskedInput controls do not. They are skipped right over (even though they are the next control in the sequence). Eventually they do recieve focus but only after tabbing through the entire page. If I place the curser in one of the C1MaskedInput controls they then tab through.

Any suggestions on how to make these work in proper sequence with the other controls?

C1GridView - Sort indicators are not working

I have a C1GridView grid with sorting enabled. The sorting is working, but the column headers do not show the up and down and arrows to indicate the direction of the sort.

C1Combobox viewstate issue and postback issue.

I have a couple of issues when using the C1Combobox. The first is when I use it inside of an asp Multiview any combobox that is in an unactive view and databound on load loses it's items when the view is set to active. The same issue occurs when inside a div that is set to display:none but doesn't have an issue in a div set to visibility:hidden. I need to know how to get it to work with display:none for a few reasons.

My second issue is when items are set in the html of the page and the combobox is set to autopost back every other postback causes the control to reset itself and reselect the first item in the list.

I have attached an example of both issues on a single page. I'm not sure these are bugs or if there is a setting I need to change. Any help would be much appreciated.

C1ComboBox SelectedValue in FormView

I'm having an issue using the C1Combobox with an ASP.NET FormView.

When switching to Edit mode in the FormView I bind the C1ComboBox to an ObjectDataSource. Then with the original ASP DropdownList I could simply bind the SelectedValue in HTML to the foriegn key value found in the FormView's datasource.

I have tried different ways in code to accomplish this with the C1Combox by handling the FormView's datasource SELECTED event and then getting the value and applying it to the combobox by finding the value with the C1ComoboBox.FindItemByValue() but this seems very cumbersome to change out all the dropdownlists on my forms. Also I keep getting errors when doing this, it may have to do with timing of events on the form. Is there a better way of doing this?

Grid View Column Widths

I am unable to set the column widths of my Grid View. I am using the latest version of the Grid View for .net 3.5.

I have tried setting the column width in the asp page by using <ItemStyle Width="35px" />, and I've tried seting the column width in the CS page by using C1GridView1.Columns[2].ItemStyle.Width = new Unit(35). Nothing changes.

The problem is that I have a column that contains text that is very long and I would like to limit how wide the column gets before it wraps. Right now, the column goes off the viewable page, and then wraps at some arbitrary point.

Is is possible that something in the CSS is overriding the coded column widths?

Error Creating Control for all ASP.NET 3.0 Components

I bought the Studio Enterprise a few days ago, but each time I add a component to my aspx page, I see a grey box with an "Error Creating Control - Counld not load file or assembly" message instead of seeing the component. The only components which actually show up when adding them are "C1WebChart" and "C1WebChart3D".

At the moment I am trying to use the C1Calendar Component from the "C1 ASP.NET 3.0" tab in the Toolbox.

When the application is running, I can view the Calendar and use it without any issues. Can someone help? (see attached doc for screenshots).

Windows XP
Microsoft .NET Framework 4

GridView datasource - No datatable/sqlDataSource = no filtering.

I'm wondering if the GridView supports other datasources than a datatable/sqlDataSource?

When I set the datasource to be an array (of a custom class), the filtering is not working. Postback occurs, filtering handler is called but the filter doesn't apply to the rows.

I can't seem to find an example of using other datasource type than DataTables, and the documentation is also not covering this i.e what datasource types are supported.

The grid has no problem in binding the data, bound columns etc., which makes this bug even more strange.

Please advice...
