This problem only occurs with VISTA.
I use the Wise Installation system to install my VB6 application which installs several components including sizerone.ocx .
All of the other controls install and register fine but when my users attempt to execute the application they get an error on sizerone.ocx not being registered. They are logged in as an administrator when they install the application.
If they manually launch cmd.exe as as administrator then they are able to register the control using the regsvr32 command.
Has anyone seen this problem and know of any fixes or workarounds. This only occurs with sizerone.ocx and not with about 20 other vbcontrols that I use.
Thanks,
George
BTW . if VISTA UAC is turned off, the sizerone.ocx will install correctly.
· c1sizer.ocx
· c1sizerppg.dll
Have a nice day.

James Smith
