Nethelp displays xml instead of help text

We have a help files created with D2H2008 with the nethelp target.  We are deploying it on a IIS web server.  When we display the help we get the TOC in the left pane (it looks nromal with the books and will expand) but in the right pane we get the xml language instead of the text we expect.  What could be causing this?  We have placed the entire nethelp directory on the server as well as following the nethelp install instructions that were posted in this forum. Is there something we are leaving out on the server or what?  Any assistance is very much appreciated.  thanks Linda

    Hi,

Since you have followed the instruction from the News forms, might be possible we are still missing something. In order to fix this issue I would like to provide you the steps again how to deploy the help file. Please follow the steps mentioned below:

    1. Create a Virtual directory on IIS.

    2. Copy C1D2HASPHandler.dll from program files to project folder under nethelp and register C1D2HASPHandler.dll by giving proper path using regsvr32. (regsvr32 C1D2HASPHandler.dll)

    3. Copy the NetHelp folder at C:\Inetpub\wwwroot.

    4. Open IE and give the path of the project.

    I hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Andrew
