I'm running 20082.19408 of the C1Command.2 dll and the main menu does not work properly when selected. If the windows is on the secondary monitor, the menu shows up on the primary monitor.
An old version (20073.19306) works perfectly
Please help

Anybody from C1 have an answer?
I am having this same issue as well. C1Command version 2.0.20082.19408

This still does not work with prerelease 20083.19417. Please see the attached image to see what happens.
Please fix this.
Not happy!!
Just updated to the lastest version of this control (from 2008v1) and it broken my application on multiple monitors - I get exactly the same behaviour as described above.
PLEASE SORT THIS URGENTLY - I WILL HAVE UNHAPPY CUSTOMERS IF I RELEASE THE NEW VERSION OF MY APPLICATION RUNNING LIKE THIS!
I've submitted an incident report so hopefully we'll actually receive an answer!
It works properly if the secondary monitor is positioned to the right of the primary. However, if the secondary is positioned to the left (i.e. the X position is negative) then it cant cope. I have also submitted an incident report so lets wait and see!
FYI: With an email back from support about once a week still, it has been "escalated this issue to our QA team for further review".
How's it going on your end?
Very quiet. I was asked to submit a sample project that replicated the behaviour. The project I submitted didnt include a single line of written code! Simply a form with a C1Mainmenu on it! That's all that was needed to replicate the behaviour. I can't believe that something so fundmental (which worked in the 2007 versions has been so well and truly broken!)
My issue has also been escalated to QA for further review. At least they have been able to replicate the situation.
Hopefully we'll get a fix 'real soon now'.
Cheers
Mike
I thought I would post an update...
Well there is none...not a word from C1 in weeks about the problem.
Nothing at this end either.
I've just been sent a reminder to renew my subscription from C1. I guess I'll be spending the intervening time looking at alternative third party controls. I'm not going to spend my company's money on buggy controls that simply do not work, and do not get fixed when problems are reported.
What really sticks in my throat is that this wasn't an aspect that never worked; it used to work and was broken by ComponentOne. It leaves you wondering about their aproach to quality control.
Hello all,
I am very sorry for the inconvenience. This thread was just brought to my attention. I am going to investigate this and I will post an update shortly.
Thanks,
John Franco
I can reproduce this myself quite easily as well. It was escalated to the developers on December 8th and they are looking for a fix now. I will post new information as soon as I have it.
Thank you for your patience and I am very sorry for the inconvenience.
Looks like the latest release (v2.0.20083.19419) fixes the issue. Thanks for attending to this.
