Too much whitespace when hiding elements

I am having a problem with hiding elements on a report. When I hide the elements, there is way too much whitespace left behind, and it looks really bad. Is there any way I can remove the whitespace? I have tried putting the elements right next to each other, with no space between them. But that does not work. I am not sure what else to try.

I can attach the ReportDesigner XML file if it would be helpful. Thanks for your time.

Regarding your query, I would sugegst you to please test the reported issue with the latest build of C1Report control, you may download the same from following location.

In case the issue follows in the latest build as well, please provide a sample projet or .xml file which replicates the said behavior, along with the steps to replciate the reported issue.
