Hallo,
I work with D2H 2009 V. 428 / Windows Vista and Office 2003. In the past I used the Image Map Editor in order to create HotSpots on images and all was perfect.
Suddenly and I do not know the reason, when I create the HotSpots (Popup Links) in the editor and after compiling the project to a chm it doesn't work. Also after compiling older projects the HotSpots are lost in the chm.
In order to solve the problem I installed D2H new and reinstalled Office 2003. But the problem is not solved.
What could be the reason? Can anything help me?
Best regards
Christa
Hello,
With reference to the issue, I would request you to download the latest build of Doc-To-Help from the link given below

Kindly test the same on this build and feel free to share your observations

Hallo Andrew,
thank you so much. With this update I can use the Image Map Editor again and the function is okay.
Greetings from Germany!
I am having exactly the same problem, but build 480 has not fixed the problem for me. I am authoring using Word 2007 which is the only difference I see from Christa's post. Also, I have not redownloaded the app. Build 480 is the version I have downloaded (on trial). Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks. Paul
Hi Paul,
for Word 2007, the problem is very probably caused by a bug in the Security Update for Microsoft Office Word 2007 (KB969604).
There is a hotfix from MS:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/970942/It can be downloaded via the 'View and request hotfix downloads' link(http://support.microsoft.com/hotfix/KBHotfix.aspx?kbnum=970942&kbln=en-us)
Though it is not available through the Windows Update.
Best Regards,
Sabine Kamprowski
Thank you for this. Indeed the hotfix fixed the problem.
Paul
HI, Sabine.
I have applied the hotfix that you suggested to the other users, but without success, possibly because I am running Doc To Help 2008 for Word. Am I out of luck?
