button with image

I am trying to place a button in each cell of the first column.  Then on that button I want to place an icon or image.  This is going to be an indicator that something is up with this row of data and the user can click the button to display the full warning message.  Does anyone have an example to get the button and image placed?  I can't seem to get the image on the button to display.
