Description
Returns the sum-of-years' digits depreciation of an asset for a specified period.
Syntax
SYD(Cost, Salvage, Life, Per)
Remarks
Arguments are as follows:

| Cost | Initial cost of the asset |
| Salvage | Value at the end of the depreciation |
| Life | Number of periods over which the asset is being depreciated |
| Per | The period for depreciation Must use the same units as the Life argument. |
