Spread Designer


To create an edit cell

In the Spread Designer,

  1. Select a cell or block of cells.
  2. Choose the cell type using one of the following methods:
    • Display the pop-up menu by right-clicking the cell or block of cells and then choose Edit.
    • From the Cell menu, choose Cell Type, Edit.
    • Choose the Edit button ( ) on the cell type toolbar.
    The Cell Type dialog box appears.
  3. In the Cell Type dialog box, on the Settings tab,
    1. Specify the case of the provided characters by selecting an option button under Text Case.
    2. Specify text alignment by selecting an option button under Horizontal Alignment or Vertical Alignment.
    3. Specify how text is oriented in the cell by choosing an item from the Text Orientation drop-down list box.
    4. Set up the cell to appear as a password entry field by selecting the Password check box.
    5. Choose the OK or Apply button.
