Spread Designer


To merge cells

In the Spread Designer,

  1. Select the column or row for which you want to set the merge feature.
  2. From the Sheet menu, choose Columns or Rows or press the Columns and Rows button ( ) on the Sheet toolbar.
  3. To allow cells in a column to merge across rows, on the Columns tab in the Column and Row Settings dialog box,
    1. Select the merge feature from the Auto Merge drop-down list box.
    2. Choose the OK or Apply button.
  4. To allow cells in a row to merge across columns, on the Rows tab in the Column and Row Settings dialog box,
    1. Select the merge feature from the Auto Merge drop-down list box.
    2. Choose the OK or Apply button.
