Spread Designer


To export to an HTML file

  1. If you want to exclude part of the sheet from the export, hide the appropriate columns or rows by doing the following:
    1. Select the column or row to be hidden.
    2. From the Sheet menu, choose Columns and Rows.
    3. In the Column and Row Settings dialog, on either the Column or Row tab, as appropriate, select the Columns Hidden or Rows Hidden check box.
    4. Choose the OK button.
  2. If you do not want to export column or row headers, do the following:
    1. From the Sheet menu, choose Headers.
    2. In the Headers dialog, on either the Columns or Rows tab, as appropriate, clear the Display Headers check box.
    3. Choose the OK button.
  3. If you want to export only a portion of the data, select the data to export.
  4. From the File menu, choose Save As.
  5. In the Save As dialog,
    1. Browse to the directory to which you want to save the file.
    2. From the Save as type drop-down list box, choose HTML File (*.htm, *.html).
    3. Type the file name in the File name box.
      If you would prefer to use a different file extension, type it along with the file name in the File name box.

      Note: If you use a different file name extension, the file will still be exported as the file type chosen in the Save as type drop-down list box.

    4. Choose the Save button.
