Path and name of the Excel file to which to save the contents
includeHeaders
Whether to save the headers as data

Glossary Item Box

Saves the contents of the Spread component to the specified Excel-compatible file with the headers exported as data.

Parameters

fileName
Path and name of the Excel file to which to save the contents
includeHeaders
Whether to save the headers as data

Return Value

Boolean: true if successful; false otherwise

Exceptions

System.ArgumentNullExceptionNo file name is specified (or specified file name is null)
System.ArgumentExceptionNo file name is specified (or specified file name is empty)

Example

This example saves the Spread component to an Excel-formatted file, but does not save the headers.
