Glossary Item Box

Gets the column index of the farthest cell of the selection.

Remarks

If you are selecting a range of cells, then LeadColumn and LeadRow will return the farthest cell.  If you are selecting a single row or a range of rows, then LeadColumn will return 0 and LeadRow will return the farthest row.  If you are selecting a column or a range of columns then LeadColumn will return the farthest column and LeadRow will return 0.

Example

This example illustrates the use of this member by returning the column index and row index for the last cell selected in the range.
