Glossary Item Box

Gets or sets the default horizontal alignment for text in the cells in this alternating row.

Syntax

Visual Basic (Declaration)
Public Property HorizontalAlign As HorizontalAlign
Visual Basic (Usage)Copy Code
Dim instance As AlternatingRow
Dim value As HorizontalAlign

instance.HorizontalAlign = value

value = instance.HorizontalAlign
C#
public HorizontalAlign HorizontalAlign {get; set;}

Property Value

HorizontalAlign object containing the alignment of text for cells in this alternating row

Remarks

Valid values for this property are the horizontal alignment settings listed in the HorizontalAlign enumeration in the Microsoft .NET Framework Reference.

The setting for this property can be overridden if a named style is assigned to the cell using the StyleName property, and that named style sets the horizontal alignment.

Use the VerticalAlign property to specify the vertical alignment of the object or text.

Example

This example sets the rows so they alternate three times before repeating (so it uses a count of three). It sets the text of three cells, adjusts the height of the rows to allow for alignment changes and then sets the horizontal and vertical alignment of the text in the two of the three alternating rows.
C#Copy Code
FpSpread1.Sheets[0].AlternatingRows.Count = 3;
FpSpread1.Sheets[0].Rows(0).Height = 80;
FpSpread1.Sheets[0].Rows(1).Height = 80;
FpSpread1.Sheets[0].Rows(2).Height = 80;
FpSpread1.Sheets[0].SetValue(0, 0, "Test");
FpSpread1.Sheets[0].SetValue(1, 0, "for");
FpSpread1.Sheets[0].SetValue(2, 0, "Alignment");
FpSpread1.Sheets[0].AlternatingRows[0].HorizontalAlign = HorizontalAlign.Right;
FpSpread1.Sheets[0].AlternatingRows[0].VerticalAlign = VerticalAlign.Top;
FpSpread1.Sheets[0].AlternatingRows[2].HorizontalAlign = HorizontalAlign.Right;
FpSpread1.Sheets[0].AlternatingRows[2].VerticalAlign = VerticalAlign.Top;
