Glossary Item Box

Gets or sets the whether the style marks cells as locked.

Syntax

Visual Basic (Declaration)
Public Overridable Property Locked As Boolean
Visual Basic (Usage)Copy Code
Dim instance As StyleInfo
Dim value As Boolean

instance.Locked = value

value = instance.Locked
C#
public virtual bool Locked {get; set;}

Property Value

Boolean: true if the cell is marked as locked; false otherwise

Remarks

You can specify that certain cells are locked; that is, the user cannot edit them. You mark cells as locked using this property. Cells are not locked until the SheetView.Protect property is set to true for the sheet. Because the Protect property's default value is true, unless you have changed the value of the Protect property, when you mark a cell as locked, it is locked and the user cannot edit it.

Note that when the Protect property is false, the user can still interact with cells marked as locked.

Example

C#Copy Code
FarPoint.Win.Spread.StyleInfo si = new FarPoint.Win.Spread.StyleInfo();
DialogResult dlg;
si.Locked = true;
fpSpread1.ActiveSheet.DefaultStyle = si;
dlg = MessageBox.Show("Reset the locked?");
if (dlg == DialogResult.OK)
{
si.ResetLocked();
fpSpread1.ActiveSheet.DefaultStyle = si;
}
Visual BasicCopy Code
Dim si As New FarPoint.Win.Spread.StyleInfo
Dim dlg As DialogResult
si.Locked = True
FpSpread1.ActiveSheet.DefaultStyle = si
dlg = MessageBox.Show("Reset the locked?")
If dlg = DialogResult.OK Then
si.ResetLocked()
FpSpread1.ActiveSheet.DefaultStyle = si
End If
