HotkeyPrefix Property (SuperEditBase)

Gets or sets whether an ampersand typed in front of a character underlines the character in a static control.
Syntax
'Declaration

Public Overridable Property HotkeyPrefix As HotkeyPrefix
'Usage

Dim instance As SuperEditBase
Dim value As HotkeyPrefix

instance.HotkeyPrefix = value

value = instance.HotkeyPrefix
public virtual HotkeyPrefix HotkeyPrefix {get; set;}

Property Value

HotkeyPrefix setting that determines how prefixes are shown
Remarks

When this property is set to Hide, an ampersand typed in the text of the static control does not appear in the control as an ampersand, nor does it underline the following letter. You might want to use the Hide setting if you want to temporarily hide the underlined letters, but sometimes display them for users who want hot key access.

When this property is set to None, the static controls display ampersand characters as characters and do not underline the following character.

When this property is set to Show in static controls, ampersand characters are not displayed but instead the character following the ampersand character is underlined. When the character is underlined, if a user presses Alt+the underlined character (or hot key), the focus moves to the next control in the tab order following the static control.

Create a static control by setting the ControlType property to ControlType.Static.

Note: Read-write and read-only controls always display ampersand characters as characters, without underlining the following character.
