For developing applications with Spread ASP.NET, you must have the following system items:

- Release version of the Microsoft .NET 2.0 Framework.
- Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
- SQL Server or the SQL Server desktop engine that ships with Visual Studio .NET installed on your machine to be able to run the
\VB\SpreadDemo and \CS\SpreadDemo samples
- The Spread extender requires the AJAX Control Toolkit (the .NET 2.0 framework version of Spread only supports up to the 3.0 version of
the Ajax Control Toolkit.).
- The Spread Designer requires Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) 7 or higher and the Microsoft.mshtml.dll.
