For developing applications with Spread ASP.NET, you must have the following system items:

- Release version of the Microsoft .NET 3.5 Framework (SP1 or higher).
- Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
- SQL Server or the SQL Server desktop engine that ships with Visual Studio .NET installed on your machine to be able to run the
\VB\SpreadDemo and \CS\SpreadDemo samples
- The Spread extender requires the AJAX Control Toolkit
- The Spread Designer requires Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) 7 or higher and the Microsoft.mshtml.dll.
