Home Tab

The Home tab can be used to cut, copy, or paste, set cell formatting, specify conditional formatting and cell styles, lock cells, and protect sheets or the workbook. You can also use this tab to insert or delete columns, rows, or sheets and set automatic fill options. You can also hide rows, columns, or sheets.

The following table lists the group options:

Group Description
Clipboard This group allows you to cut, copy, or paste.
Font This group allows you to set the font properties.
Alignment This group allows you to specify cell alignment.
Number

This group allows you to specify cell formatting.

Styles This group allows you set conditional formatting, format tables, and set cell styles.
Cells This group allows you to insert or delete columns, rows, or sheets, lock cells, protect sheets or the workbook, and set widths or heights.
Editing This group allows you to specify automatic fill, clear, sort, filter, or search.
