    Previewing C1PdfDocument

    Hi

    I'm using C1.C1Pdf.2 and C1.C1Preview version 2.0.20063.

I am generating PDF documents using C1PdfDocument because I need to have fine control over the document rendering using the C1Pdf drawing methods.

I'd like to preview the resultant document using the C1PrintPreviewControl but I can't see any way of assigning the C1PdfDocument to either the C1PrintPreviewControl.Document property or via a C1PrintDocument object.

I would like to avoid having to use C1Report (and convert to PDF) if at all possible

Can I preview a C1Pdf directly, using either the C1PrintPreviewControl or another C1 component; or is this not possible?

    Many thanks

    Re: Previewing C1PdfDocument

    Hello,

It is not possible to show a PDF file generated by C1Pdf over C1PrintPreview control, because C1PrintPreview control can not read PDF documents.

However one workaround in this scenario would be to generate your document using C1PrintDocument. This will allow you to preview it over the C1PrintPreview control as well as it will allow you to export document to PDF file using export feature of C1PrintDocument.
