Integrate ActiveAnalysis Help into Visual Studio 2010 on your computer to access the ActiveAnalysis User Guide, Developer Guide, and Class Library from within Visual Studio 2010.
To install help in Microsoft Help Viewer
- From the Start menu, select All Programs > Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 > Visual Studio Tools > Manage Help Settings, to launch the Help Library Manager.
- On the Help Library Manager dialog that appears, click Install content from disk.
- Click the Browse button and navigate to the ActiveAnalysis Help manifest file. By default, the file is located at C:\Program Files\GrapeCity\ActiveAnalysis\2.x.x.x\Help\helpcontentsetup.msha.
Note: Default path for the manifest file is C:\Program Files (x86)\GrapeCity\ActiveAnalysis\2.x.x.x\Help\helpcontentsetup.msha in a 64-bit machine. - Select the helpcontentsetup.msha file and click Open.
- On the Install Content from Disk page that appears, click Next.
- Next to ActiveAnalysis 2, click the Add action and then at the bottom of the window to enable the Update button. Click on this button to update the contents.
- In the Security Alert page that appears, click Yes to accept the security certificate.
- On the Updating Local Library page that appears, click Finish to install help in Visual Studio 2010.

Note: If help content is not updated and installed properly a 404 error message may appear. To avoid this remove any prior instances of the ActiveAnalysis help file and try installing the file again. For more information on Help Troubleshooting, please see Troubleshooting. |
