The C1Calendar control includes a smart tag in Visual Studio. A smart tag represents a shortcut tasks menu that provides the most commonly used properties in C1Calendar.
To access the C1Calendar Tasks menu, click on the smart tag in the upper-right corner of the C1Calendar control. This will open the C1Calendar Tasks menu.
The C1Calendar Tasks menu operates as follows:
• Show Other Month Days
When the Show Other Month Days check box is selected it shows the other month days that are not part of the calendar’s current month. This is selected by default.
• Show Weekdays
When the Show Weekdays check box is selected it shows the weekdays of the current month on the calendar. This is selected by default.
• Culture
Clicking the Culture dropdown box opens up a list of different cultures that you can choose from. English (United States) is the default culture for the C1Calendar control.
• Selection Mode
Clicking the drop-down arrow in the Selection Mode opens the following list of selection modes for you to select from: Header and Footer, Calendar Header, Calendar Footer, and Custom Days so you can specify the selection mode for the calendar.
• Edit Templates
Clicking on the Edit Templates link changes the C1Calendar control into editing mode.
• About
Clicking on the About item displays the About dialog box, which is helpful in finding the version number and licensing information for the Studio for iPhone suite.
The C1Calendar Tasks menu for the Template Editing Mode operates as follows:
• Display
Clicking the drop-down arrow in the Display box opens the following list of displays for you to select from: Header and Footer, Calendar Header, Calendar Footer, and Custom Days.
• End Template Editing
Clicking the End Template Editing, ends the Template Editing Mode and returns to the current C1Calendar control.
• About
Clicking on the About item displays the About dialog box, which is helpful in finding the version number and licensing information for the Studio for iPhone suite.
