The Search Folders tab allows you to add and remove folders where C1Live will look for assembly files. When you open the C1Live Options dialog box the Search Folder tab appears:
The
Search Folders tab lists the locations that
Studio Live searches for installed ComponentOne products. The directories are read from registry keys (the gray entries) and any previous user entries. Locations found from registry keys cannot be edited. If you installed a ComponentOne development tool to a directory that is not shown in the Directories list, you can specify the location of the
\bin folder for that installation directory by following these steps:
- Select the Folder icon to the right of the directory list to enable the ellipsis button if it is not visible.
- Enter the appropriate directory:
- Click the ellipsis button to browse for the folder. Locate the correct folder and click OK in the Browse for Folder dialog box.
OR
- Double-click the line below the last entry. Enter the full path in the line below the last entry and press Enter. If the directory does not exist, an error appears and you must enter a valid path. Press the Escape button to end editing without adding a location.
The folder will be added to the
Custom Folders listed in the tab. Note that all subdirectories of the listed directories (both of those found from registry keys and of user-specified ones) are also included in the search.
