Occurs before the Edit Appointment dialog appears on the screen as a result of:
  • a double-click on the control area in one of the default control views,
  • the NewAppointmentDialog method call,
  • a NewAppointmentDialogCommand command.

Remarks

Use this event to make custom settings to a new appointment before it appears on the screen and/or to implement your own reaction on this event, instead of activating a standard dialog window.

In order to change appointment properties before showing the dialog on a screen, use the appointment object referenced by the e.Appointment event argument.

To prevent activating a standard dialog window, set the e.Handled event argument to True.
