Before any words can be checked, the MainThesFile property must be set to contain the complete path and filename of the main thesaurus file. This may be done in design time or programmatically. The component will search for the default main thesaurus filename (c1th_ae.the) in the Windows System directory. If the file is located there, you do not need to adjust the MainThesFile property.
However, if your main thesaurus file is not located in the Windows System directory you must specify the complete path and file name in the MainThesFile property, for example:
