Displaying an Abbreviated Calendar Month Name and Year

To display an abbreviated calendar month name and year, complete the following steps:

Select View | Properties Window in the Visual Studio menu.
Click the drop-down list at the top of the Properties window and select Panel1_C1CalendarExtender.
Select the TitleFormat property and enter the date format pattern, “MMM yyyy”.

The abbreviated calendar month and year is displayed on the calendar title.
