Returns or sets how the control aligns itself to its parent.
Syntax
[form!]C1Tab.Align[ = AlignSettings ]
Remarks
The Align property is similar to Visual Basic's standard Align property, except for the following:
- It has an additional setting: 5 - asFill, which causes the Tab control to fill all the client area of its container.
- It works even when the Tab control is inside another control. (The standard Visual Basic Align property only works when the control is placed on the form.)
- The Align property depends on the control's Z-order. The control in the back (last in the ZOrder, and typically the first created) gets aligned first, and the remaining controls use the remaining space in their increasing ZOrder.
These extra capabilities make the Align property extremely powerful. Use it with the AutoSizeChildren and FontResize properties to handle all resizing on any form.
