C1Elastic Reference > C1Elastic Properties > MaxChildSize Property |
Returns or sets the maximum size (in twips) for the control's children.
[form!]C1Elastic.MaxChildSize[ = value As Long ]
The size corresponds to the width or height of the child controls, depending on the setting of the AutoSizeChildren property.
The size limit applies only to child controls being set to an even size. Therefore, it does not apply to any controls when the AutoSizeChildren property is set to 7 - azProportional or 8 - azGrid. It also does not apply to the topmost child control when AutoSizeChildren is set to 2 - azUnevenHorz, or 4 - azUnevenVert.
This property is useful to prevent controls from becoming too tall or too wide. Command buttons, for example, can look strange if they are too wide.
Setting this property to zero disables it.
