Glossary Item Box

Gets or sets a value that determines the type of input control to be created to collect the parameter value from the user.

Syntax

Property Value

A DataType enumeration value that determines the type of control to be created for the parameters input dialog.

Remarks

ActiveReports creates the parameters intput dialog for the user dynamically based on the number of parameters and their type.  By default, all parameters are considered strings.  You can specify a Boolean control (checkbox) or a Date (calendar) control instead of a standard textbox.
