ActiveBar Tools (ActiveBar.Tools collection) can be placed on different bands such as menus, toolbars, or context menus. Each tool becomes a new instance with individual properties. This architecture allows you to customize the settings of a tool based on the current band container the tool populates. The tool properties remain shared between all instances of a tool.
These properties control the state of the tool regardless of the current location of the tool. Setting any of these properties on any of the tool instances affects all other instances of the tool.
Note: The ActiveBar.ApplyAll method allows you to re-synchronize tool properties with all instances of that tool.
