ComponentOne WebSpell for ASP.NET: Using WebSpell IDE for ASP.NET > Options > Dictionaries

Dictionaries

The Dictionaries tab enables you to view the main dictionary path, specify the main dictionary file, and add or remove custom dictionaries.

ComponentOne WebSpell IDE for ASP.NET includes the following add-on dictionaries:

      c1sp_ae.dct (American English)

      c1sp_aec.dct (American English - compact)

      c1sp_be.dct (British English)

      c1sp_bec.dct (British English - compact)

      c1sp_es.dct (Spanish)

      c1sp_nl.dct (Dutch)

C1SP_AE.DCT is the main dictionary, by default. To change the main dictionary, click the Change button and specify a new dictionary file in the Open dialog box.

Custom dictionaries attached to WebSpell IDE for ASP.NET are listed in the Dictionaries text box. A custom dictionary is a text file in which every line contains one word. These words are considered correctly spelled words. For more information on custom dictionaries, see Building and Maintaining Dictionary Files.

To add a new custom dictionary, click the Add button and specify a custom dictionary file in the Open dialog box. Make sure the checkbox next to this file is checked.

If you do not need to use one of the custom dictionary files in the list, but you would like to keep attached to WebSpell IDE for ASP.NET for later use, uncheck its checkbox.

To remove a custom dictionary attached to WebSpell IDE for ASP.NET , click the Remove button.

Note: By default, the Main Dictionary path is not set. WebSpell IDE for ASP.NET tries to locate the c1sp_ae.dct file in the <Windows folder>\System32 folder, in the currently opened project folder, and in the folder where the C1WebSpell.dll file is located.
