Starting the Spread Designer

Before you use the Spread Designer, you should be familiar with the Spread Designer Features. Follow these instructions to start the Spread Designer.

• To run Spread Designer from the control
  1. Place an fpSpread control on the form or dialog.
  2. Display the pop-up menu by right-clicking the fpSpread control.
  3. Choose Spread Designer.
• To run the Spread Designer as a stand-alone program:
  1. In the Windows\System32 directory, double-click on the icon for SD32D80.EXE. The unicode designer is SD32DU80.EXE.
  2. From the File menu, select New or select Open and the name of a file.

When you start the Spread Designer, the Spread Designer appears and you are ready to use it. For more information on the interface, refer to "Understanding the Spread Designer Interface". For more information on selecting items, printing, and previewing, refer to "Using the Spread Designer".
