The Spread Designer
You can use the Spread Designer at design time to manage the appearance of and the extent of user interaction with the fpSpread control, as well as entering data, formulas, notes, and tags. You can set both design-time and run-time properties and view the run-time appearance of the spreadsheet(s) in the control. You can preview and print the spreadsheet(s) and, once all changes are made, you can apply those changes to the selected fpSpread control or save them to a file.
You can run the Spread Designer as a stand-alone program or you can run it from within your development environment. As a stand-alone program, you can create the control and save the spreadsheet(s) as SS8, text, XML, HTML, or Excel files. However, you cannot set data-binding properties when running the Spread Designer as a stand-alone program and you cannot set bound properties if the control is not bound.
