Property Value

This property applies to parts of the scroll bars when they are displayed.
The scroll box is the square element in a scroll bar that moves on a track to change the position of the displayed contents when clicked and dragged. The scroll arrows are the square buttons at each end of a scroll bar that move the content on the screen in small increments when clicked. The track is the unmoving part of the scroll bar along which the scroll box slides.

Other properties that can affect the appearance of the track are the ScrollBarBaseColor and ScrollBarHighlightColor.

This property (as well as any of the scroll bar related properties) does not have an effect on the Mozilla Firefox browser. Firefox does not support the CSS properties to handle this customization of the scroll bars.
