Using the C1ImageViewer Web Part

With C1ImageViewer, you can link to any image URL and display the image with an interactive magnifying glass.

This is a great option for photos with a great amount of detail, such as a product image, a landscape, or a company group photo. Both png and jpg files can be used.

Pittsburgh in the C1Image Viewer

To create an ImageViewer
  1. Add the C1ImageViewer Web Part to the page. (See Adding a Web Part to a Page.)
  2. Open the On-Board Designer. (See Using the On-Board Designer.)
  3. Click the ImageViewer tab.
  4. Enter a URL in the Image URL field. You must use a URL that contains an image file, such as http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/ee/Duquesne_Incline_from_top.jpg

If you wish, adjust the Zoom Factor of the image. The Handle Keyboard check box allows zooming in/out within the magnifier area using the + and - keys on your keyboard.

  5. Click Save Web Part.

You can move the magnifier around the image to zoom in on specific areas. You can use the +/- keys to change the zoom within the magnifier.
