Any saved toolbar layout can be used as a tool library and shared between projects. To create a tool library, use the Save option in the designer. To open a pre-saved toolbar layout file as a library, click on the library tool and open the file. ActiveBar displays a window similar to the designer and allows you to drag tools, bands, and categories from the open library window into the designer window.

Note: ActiveBar assigns new tool ids to the tools that are dropped from the library. ActiveBar uses the last assigned tool id and increments it by 1. This numbering process avoids tool id conflicts with existing tools in the layout.
