To create and customize a scientific notation cell
At run time,
- If your control contains more than one sheet, specify the sheet with which you want to work by setting the Sheet property.
- Set the Col, Col2, Row, and Row2 properties as appropriate.
- If you are selecting a block of cells, set the BlockMode property to True.
- Set the CellType property to 15 (Scientific).
- Specify the maximum value for the cell using the TypeScientificMax property.
- Specify the minimum value for the cell using the TypeScientificMin property.

Specify the number of decimal digits to display using the TypeScientificDecPlaces property.
Note: The total number of digits to the left and right of the decimal symbol cannot total more than 14. - Specify the horizontal and vertical alignment of the data in the cell by setting the TypeHAlign and TypeVAlign properties.
- Specify the text orientation of the data in the cell by setting the TypeTextOrient property.
- If you selected a block of cells, set the BlockMode property back to False.
